A connected life

Fifty miles (80 km) south of London, between the South Downs National Park and the English Channel, Brighton & Hove’s excellent connections make getting about exceptionally easy, whether simply heading out for the day or travelling further afield.

A connected life

Often referred to as London-on-Sea, the city has well-established links with the capital.

Hove Station is only 0.2 miles away from The Goldstone Apartments, while Brighton station is 1.7 miles. Trains from both service London Victoria (66 minutes or 56 minutes respectively) and Gatwick Airport (31 minutes or 25 minutes). Westbound services include trains to Southampton, Portsmouth and Bristol Temple Meads, with Hastings, Worthing and Cambridge also accessible from Brighton.

Travelling around by car is effortless. Just north of The Goldstone Apartments, The A27 runs from Portsmouth and Chichester in the west right across to Eastbourne in the east, while the A23 offers a direct route into London in approximately 90 minutes, connecting with the M23 and M25 on the way.

For travel further afield, there’s a choice of airports: Brighton City Airport (for private flights) is 7 miles away, while Heathrow is 62 miles. Gatwick is even closer at just 27 miles. For sea journeys, the closest ports are Portsmouth and Newhaven, with ferries to Bilbao, the Channel Islands and France.
